Believing Boston is ripe for an alternative to the conventional fast food offerings, Great Wraps franchisee Fred Gamble and partners are seeking real estate that will introduce the fast-casual brand to the metro Boston area.

“In the Boston market, consumer trends show us that residents are looking for a restaurant that provides healthy, hearty menu options.  This is even more relevant in these cold, winter months, where customers are looking for unique, hot dishes that are cooked fresh on the grill,” says Mark Kaplan, CEO and chairman of Great Wraps. “With Boston’s proximity to universities, government organizations, and business districts, there are an abundance of real estate options that could see success from the addition of a Great Wraps.”

Popular in the Southeast and Midwest, Great Wraps has seen increased franchise interest across the U.S. over the last year, with recent agreements in Texas and Oklahoma.  With Boston’s high population and large hospitals, universities, and various shopping and retail establishments, Gamble is interested in opening Great Wraps in the market.

“One of attributes of Great Wraps that attracted me to the brand was its flexible footprint.  Whether the concept is located in an enclosed mall, larger retail shopping center, or in a business or college district, the concept thrives in various venues,” Gamble says.  “I welcome the opportunity to work with leasing and real estate companies to determine the best location to open our first Great Wraps in the Boston area.”

Gamble has plans to look further into the New England region for future growth.
